Turkish Troops' Mission in Somalia Extended for 2 More Years

The Turkish Parliament has approved the extension of the Turkish Armed Forces' mission in Somalia for an additional 2 years. The presidential decree was accepted following a vote in the General Assembly.

According to the decree, Turkish troops will continue to be assigned to support security efforts against terrorism and other threats in Somalia. This decision will allow the Turkish Armed Forces to maintain their security contributions in the region.
