"This chaos may be a conspiracy to completely collapse our economy and turn us back into a nation of beggars," she said.Prime Minister Hasina made these statements in an emotional tone after visiting the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), also known as Pongu Hospital, in Sher-e-Banglanagar, to see the injured victims of the terror attacks that occurred during the total shutdown centering on the quota reform movement.Following the hospital visit, she visited Setu Bhaban, the Disaster Management Department, and the highway toll booths in Mohakhali. The Minister of Road Transport and Bridges, Obaidul Quader, was also present at the meeting held at Setu Bhaban.In her speech, Prime Minister Hasina emphasized that such actions, which aim to disrupt the country's stability and hinder its economic development, are unacceptable. She asserted that the government would resolutely combat such conspiracies and called on the people to remain united.Hasina said, "We will continue to work for the economic development and welfare of the people of Bangladesh. These kinds of attacks and conspiracies cannot deter us from our path."The Prime Minister also inquired about the health status of the injured citizens and assured them of full support. "Our government will take all necessary steps to ensure the speedy recovery of our injured citizens," she said.Highlighting the serious threats posed by such unrest to the country's economic and social development, Hasina reiterated that the government would always be prepared for such incidents and would take the necessary measures to address them.
