Two terrorists captured while preparing for attack in Ağrı
The gendarmerie captured two Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists on Tuesday in the eastern province of Ağrı while the terrorists were preparing for an attack on a school.

According to a statement released by Ağrı Governor Mehmet Tekinaslan, gendarmes arrested two terrorists who are suspected of having carried out an attack on a school on Sunday with Molotov cocktails while they were making preparations for a new assault. During a night search, security forces found the terrorists in the schoolyard readying for their new attack. The terrorists fled the scene but were followed by the gendarmes and detained at their camp. During a search of the premises, the gendarmes discovered and confiscated documents, notebooks, a mobile phone and a flash drive.

In a separate incident, in the Southeast, the Bingöl Governor's Office released a written statement on Tuesday stating that three storage areas belonging to the PKK were destroyed by the gendarmerie. The Bingöl Provincial Gendarmerie Command conducted an operation on Monday in Bingöl's Dalbasan village during which they discovered and destroyed an inflatable boat, clothes and foodstuffs in storage belonging to the PKK.
