Sisi wins presidential election by landslide
As voting ended in Egypt, where 47 percent of the voters went to polls, former military chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi won the election to a large margin with 96.7 according to unofficial results.

Out of 53 million voters, around 25 million went to the ballot boxes, which accounts for 47 percent of total. In an effort to increase participation, the government had prolonged voting to three days from two.

Other candidate Hamdeen Sabahi got 5.5 percent of the votes.
