Renowned actor Ali Poyrazoğlu to conduct Borusan Philharmonic
Popular actor, theater director and writer Ali Poyrazoğlu will conduct the Borusan İstanbul Philharmonic Orchestra (BİFO) in a special concert scheduled to take place on Dec. 11 at Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center in the name of supporting young talent.

The orchestra conducted by Poyrazoğlu will play pieces from Bizet's "Carmen." The guest conductor for the last two years has been stand-up comedian Cem Yılmaz, who received great appreciation from the audience for his skill and success. Yılmaz's second performance was watched by an audience of 1,750 people, including Culture and Tourism Minister Ertuğrul Günay.

The special concert is organized by Borusan Holding with the aim of assisting and supporting young talent. The special concerts are within the framework of its Guest Conductor project. In previous years, Borusan's special concerts have been guest conducted by such notable names as Borusan Holding CEO Ahmet Kocabıyık, Koç Holding Honorary CEO Rahmi M. Koç and Eczacıbaşı Holding CEO Bülent Eczacıbaşı.
