Paris Governor Canepa: Turkey is Important to us
The second France-Turkey Partnership Program has taken place organised by The Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON), Paris Investment Agency (GPIA) and Federation of French Executives and Entrepreneurs (FEDIF).

Paris Governor Daniel Canepa complained that the relationship between Turkey and France has been interrupted by politic issues.

"Yes, there is a bridge between hanging. We cen see that the commercial relations are being suspended. Turkey is an important country for France. Very dinamic, it will be a major force in the short run. In this respect, there is no doubt that the country will achieve its 2023 goals."

He continued saying that France invested 9 billion euros for research and development. "We have a research group of 70 people. We can run the world with research and development."

TUSKON President Rizanur Meral also said that France and Turkey have had connections for years. Pointing out that companies from Turkey and France can make good investments by joining forces, Meral stated, "the trade reached 12 billion euros between two countries. However, this is not enough."
