Turkish foreign minister meets with French, Dutch counterparts
Meeting came after NATO decided to deploy Patriot air-defense missiles along Turkey's border.

BRUSSELS

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu separately met with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and Dutch Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans on the sidelines of a NATO meeting in Brussels.
The meeting came after NATO decided to deploy Patriot air-defense missiles along Turkey's border with Syria against possible attacks from the Assad regime.
Turkish diplomatic sources said Davutoglu thanked his French for support for the deployment of the missiles and the two ministers discussed latest developments in Syria as well as in Egypt.
Davutoglu also thanked his Dutch counterpart for support and solidarity in the deployment of the Patriot batteries as well as in the fight against terrorism.
