Turkey's EU minister urges EU to show solidarity against terrorism
Bagis: Turkey expects unconditional support from its European allies in the fight against terrorism.

BERLIN

Turkey's European Union Minister and Chief Negotiator for accession talks has urged EU member countries to act in solidarity with Turkey.

"Turkey expects unconditional support from its European allies in the fight against terrorism and the same determination as our country shows in the face of terrorism," Bagis told a panel discussion of the Turkey-EU Joint Consultation Committee on Turkey's EU accession bid in Berlin.
"We expect our European allies to stand on our side against the terrorist PKK the same way as Turkey cooperates with them against al Qaida and other terrorist organizations," Bagis said.
Bagis said the terrorist PKK raised money in Europe in different disguises by blackmailing and threatening people and it also ran the largest drug and human trafficking network in Europe.
