Syrian National Council's (SNC) Turkey Representative, Halit Hoca stated that step by step the Syrian opposition was getting closer to victory.
Hoca assessed Russia's statement which was released that the Syrian government was more and more losing control in the country and the meeting of the Friends of Syria Group in Marrakech to AA and pointed that the developments were strategic acquisitions.
Turkey representative of SNC said that the war continues in both fields; military and politics, and said, "It would be meaningless (other countries and organizations recognize the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces) if UN does not formally recognize Syrian National Coalition."
Syrian National Coalition was recognized by many international establishments and 114 countries including the Cooperation Council for Arab States of Gulf, Turkey, Britain, France and the U.S. as the sole legitimate representative of the Syrian people even though it was only formed a month ago, said Hoca.
He noted that the recognition of the council played a great role in the scope of Assad regime to lose constitutional legitimacy.
Hoca expressed that they shared their demand to open a Syrian National Coalition office in Istanbul with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu at the meeting of Friends of Syria Group in Marrakech and said that they expect to hold the opening in two weeks of time.
Earlier on Thursday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Russian President Vladimir Putin's Special Representative for the Middle East, Mikhail Bogdanov said that the Syrian regime and government began losing control in Syria and that the opposition may win a victory there.
Speaking to the Russian state news agency Itar-Tass, Bogdanov stressed that they hoped the Syrian Action Group would reconvene.
