Released Turkish journalist on his way back to Turkey
Turkish journalist who was released from a Syrian prison is returning to Turkey with a delegation of CHP.

Turkish journalist Cuneyt Unal, who was released from a Syrian prison, is returning to Turkey with a delegation of Republican People's Party (CHP).

CHP deputy Hasan Akgol told reporters on Sunday that they departed from Syria's Latakia city to return to Turkey.
We are planning to reach Yayladagi Customs Gate within an hour, he said.
Meanwhile, many journalists and live broadcast vehicles are waiting for Unal's return at the customs gate.
On Saturday, Akgol said that Unal was released after he and accompanying nine other CHP deputies held a meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Cuneyt Unal had gone missing in Aleppo on August 21.
Unal said that he had been kept in a prison in Aleppo.
