Officials exhume Arafat's remains
The remains of the former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat were exhumed from his grave on Tuesday morning in Ramallah.

The international forensic experts opened the grave in the presence of French judges.
Commissions will take samples of his remains and search for additional clues to Arafat's death. Experts believe DNA samples should be taken to prove the poisoning theory.
Arafat died of a mysterious disease in a military hospital in Paris in November 2004. Arafat's spouse Suha Arafat gave his clothes to a lab in Lausanne. Radioactive polonium that was found in the clothes increased the doubts of a possible suicide. A French court has opened a murder inquiry into the death of Arafat and the court prosecutor asked for the opening of the grave and taking samples of the remains.
