France: one dead, two injured in attack on factory
French TV reports that decapitated body has been found at scene of attack on industrial-gas plant
At least one person has been killed and two injured in an attack on an industrial-gas factory in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, in the French southeastern department of Isere France, according to local media reports.
French TV Itele reports that the attacker was arrested by French anti-terror police on site.
Reports say the attacker forced his way to the factory at around 10.00 a.m. local time (0800GMT) with a car causing an explosion. A decapitated body was reportedly found nearby with a Daesh flag near it.
French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve has arrived on the site.
French President Francois Hollande, who is in Brussels for an EU summit, is due to come back in the afternoon according to his office.
He will hold an emergency defense meeting at 3.00 p.m. (1300GMT), according to Minister of Defense Jean-Yves Le Drian.
"Unfortunately, a new terrorist attack has just occurred, I am therefore obliged to cut short my visit," Le Drian told journalists during a visit to an industrial site at Bordes, in Pyrénées-Atlantiques, southwest of France.
The Paris anti-terrorist prosecutor has launched an investigation into the attack, according to a statement from Paris's High Court.
