Baseless claims shadow the credibility of Turkey Progress Report
The 27th Reform Monitoring Group meeting's final declaration said the unnecessarily detailed political criteria section and baseless claims in the Turkey Progress Report shadowed the persuasiveness of EU.


The 27th Reform Monitoring Group meeting was held in northwestern province of Bursa under the auspices of Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc on Sunday.
The group discussed 2012 progress report for Turkey. Besides Arinc, EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis, Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and other officials participated in the meeting.
RMG, created in 2003, closely monitors the political reform process and formulates new reforms. RMG discusses the future reforms through a time scheme of one year.
