45 dead in attack on military warehouse in western Iraq
Sources say most of the casualties were military personnel, including senior officers
At least 45 people were killed on Monday after a military tank exploded inside an army warehouse in western Iraq, military sources told Anadolu Agency.
The sources also said more than 30 people were injured in the attack in Tharthara area, west of Samarra city.

Earlier on Monday, at least 12 civilians were killed and 28 others were injured in an Iraqi air force strike in Fallujah, a local tribal chief told Anadolu Agency.
"Iraqi army war planes dropped five barrel bombs on Fallujah city on homes of civilians and local markets, leaving 12 people dead and 28 others injured, including children and women,” Sheikh Abu Mohammed al-Delimi said.
"The barrel bombs caused severe damage in the area and destroyed 15 homes, an apartment building and a number of shops,” he said.
