18 Kashmiri Students Qualify NASA Astronomy Olympiad
Eighteen students from Kashmir valley Educational Institute in Srinagar have qualified for Nasa Astronomy Olympiad.

The students from this institute were part of a group of 100 children from the school, which participated in NASA Astronomy Olympiad-2012, conducted by Orange Group of Education, New Delhi.

All the students qualified the test and the toppers have been invited to visit NASA. Eighteen students from different classes of the school topped in the test and have also been awarded gold and silver medals, school in charge Rafi Ahmad said.

The visit will be of 11 days and the students will be the guests of NASA, he said . He added that they will have a chance to interact with the scientists at the space agency.

Students who got selected are very excited to visit the NASA. They said that, we are very happy that we are going to meet the aeronautical scientists. But we are little regretted that now they are asking us to pay about 2 lack rupees a charge to visit there.
