Mitt Romney, Republican Party's candidate in U.S. Presidential election, has said, "I pray the president will be successful in guiding our nation."

Romney, speaking at Boston Congress Center after losing the elections, thanked his running mate Paul Ryan, his wife, children, volunteers, donators and electors.
Noting that the election was over, but his principles endured, Romney said that he would continue to work for the interest of the country.
Romney stressed his belief in American people, and said, "I pray the president will be successful in guiding our nation."
Romney won in North Carolina, South Carolina, Idaho, Arizona, Missouri, Montana, Utah, Kansas, Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Indiana, Georgia, Kentucky, West Virginia and Tennessee making the number of electoral votes 206.
He gained 49 percent of the votes.
In order to be elected as the U.S. president, a candidate must have at least 270 of the electoral votes out of 538.
