Fire breaks out in Moscow metro
At least 34 people were injured in a fire at a Moscow metro station, passengers were evacuated

A fire broke out at a metro station in Moscow during morning rush hour Wednesday as officials have said at least 34 people were injured in the incident.

The fire at Okhotny Ryad station near Kremlin forced evacuation of 4,500 passengers and two people were taken to hospital because of smoke inhalation.

Officials said the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, but a preliminary investigation indicated a technical failure in a power line inside a tunnel.
