Helicopter crashes in bad weather conditions

A Turkish military helicopter went down due to bad weather conditions in southeast Turkey, killing 17 soldiers, governor said
Governor stressed that the military helicopter carrying soldiers on a mission crashed in heavy rain and fog in a mountainous area in Pervari town of Siirt on Saturday, killing 17 soldiers.
It crashed due to poor weather conditions, not by any terrorist attack, he said.

Investigation launched on helicopter crash in southeast Turkey

Turkish General Staff has said that an investigation has been launched on the military helicopter crash, killing 17 soldiers in southeastern province of Siirt.
A statement posted on the website of the General Staff said on Saturday that the reason of the crash would be determined within the scope of the investigation.
